Week 23 - Parallel MD

During the week the PSB will continue to prepare the beams for the PS MDs, the cycle for LHC low intensity and the cycle for impedance measurements in the SPS (which should take place during the week 25, i.e. week after the scrubbing run). The PS will continue to work on the MTE cycle (MD2) and on the high-intensity cycle for CNGS (MD3).
 

Monday 02/06 (08:00 - 18:00) - Test of the LHC beta-beating application in the SPS

Beam conditions: SPS user = LHCFAST1 (SPS supercycle = SFT-CNGS-LHCFAST2_V2), PS user = LHC25 and PSB user = LHC25A

#bunches = 12 (1 PSB ring)

Low intensity per bunch (~ 1E10 p/b)

Tuesday 03/06 (08:00 - 18:00) - Controlled transverse emittance blow-up in the SPS
