Week 30 - Parallel MD

Reminder 1: There should always be 1 cycle reserved for parallel studies in the PSB => Setting-up during the week of the LHC beam with 50 ns bunch spacing in the PSB to be ready for the Injector Long MD of week 33. This beam will be taken by the PS in week 31.

Reminder 2: During the week (when possible) the PS will continue to work on the Matrix measurements with the 5-CM PFWs.

 

Monday 21/07 (08:00 - 18:00)

- Optics and trajectory of AD beam in TT2-FTA lines

Beam conditions: PS user = AD and PSB user = AD.

- Continue the setting-up on the LHCFAST cycle in the SPS (if possible) => Try and increase the intensity towards the nominal 72 bunches
