Week 39 - Parallel MD
Reminder 1: There should always be 1 cycle reserved for parallel MDs in the PSB. The two main studies will focus on (1) stability issues on ring 4, and (2) LHC beams production in the LINAC4 era.
Reminder 2: During the week (when possible) the PS will continue to work on the Matrix measurements with the 5-CM PFWs.
Reminder 3: When it is known that the LHC will not ask beams for about 4-5 hours, inform Ralph Steinhagen (162584) => He needs to do a calibration of the BQK, which can be done with the LHCPROBE bunch on LHCFAST but slightly more intensity is required (~ 1E10 p/b instead of the 2or5E9 p/b asked by the LHC).
Monday 22/09 (08:00 - 18:00) - Transverse feedback in the PS
Beam conditions: PS user = MDPS and PSB user = TSTPS
Low-intensity SFTPRO-like beam (the intensity can be reduced by lowering the number of injected turns in the PSB)
