MD title: Dependence of fBCT on bunch length and position
Beam conditions: 12 and 72 bunches of 25ns beam on flat MD1 cycle MD26_L7200_V1

RF MMI target = MD1

Additional remarks: 10 acquisitions (averaging) per position = 400ms and that at ~ 10 different position -20mm to +20mm in 5mm steps. Measurements to be done also with different bunch lengths.

 

Wednesday 01/06 weekend

MD title: Comparative wire scanner measurements across machines
Beam conditions: single bunch nominal intensity (1.2e11) on MD1 cycle MD_26_L7200_V1

RF MMI target = MD1

Contact People: BE/BI, BE/OP, BE/ABP

Additional remarks: both individual (by ring with different settings) and synchronized (over PSB/PS/SPS) measurements are needed for qualification and cross-calibration. This MD basically extends to all injector synchrotrons.

MD title: Injection of 8 x PSB bunches into h=9 (joint with PSB)
Beam conditions: 50ns type beam, but with 4 Booster rings and with final bunch spacing adjusted to h=9 in the PS (and not h=7, like the present LHC beams)
