Week 41 - Injector Long MD Monday 05/10 08:00 to Wednesday 07/10 08:00 => Cancelled due to a problem with the PS injection septum 42

- Monday 05/10 (08:00 - 09:00) - Change supercycles in the PS and SPS (OP). The SPS supercycle will be the dedicated LHC ion one (LHC_ION_4inj_FT2000_450_2009_V1, 14 BP = 16.8 s)

- Monday 05/10 (09:00 - 19:00) - SPS ion commissioning with the early ion beam (4 batches of 1 bunch) (D. Manglunki). During this time the PS MD "Generation of LHC beams without switching the beam control" could take place (H. Damerau) => 2 BP cycles such as TSTLHC25

Beam conditions: SPS user Timing = LHCION2, PS user = LHCION and LEIR user = EARLY

RF MMI target = LHCION

- Monday 05/10 (19:00 - 20:00) - Change supercycles in the PS and SPS (OP). The SPS supercycle will be the LHC nominal proton one at 450 GeV/c (some references can be found at https://ab-mgt-md-users.web.cern.ch/ab-mgt-md-users/2009/MDCycles/SomeReferencesForLHCNominalCycle/Ref.htm)

- Monday 05/10 (20:00) to Tuesday 06/10 (05:00) - Ecloud studies (studies of the 3 coated MBB magnets) + Check 50 ns and 75 ns beams (in particular the MKDV outgassing/heating and ZS ion trap outgassing) + Longitudinal coupled-bunch instability at 450 GeV/c and BQM tuning (E. Shaposhnikova and E. Metral)

- Tuesday 06/10 (05:00 - 06:00) - Change supercycles in the PS and SPS (OP). The SPS supercycle will be the proton 120 GeV/c coastable one (some references can be found at https://ab-mgt-md-users.web.cern.ch/ab-mgt-md-users/2009/MDCycles/SomeReferencesForpCoastAt120GeV/Ref.htm)

Beam conditions: PS user = LHCINDIV and PSB user = LHCINDIV

RF MMI target = LHCMONO

# bunches and batches = 4 (i.e. 4 PSB rings) and up to 4

Nb ~ 1E11 p/b

Transverse emittances: e* < 3 microm

Longitudinal emittance: eL* = 0.35 eVs

- Tuesday 06/10 (06:00 - 09:00) - LHC collimators (R. Assmann)

- Tuesday 06/10 (09:00 - 12:00) - BI studies (R. Steinhagen)

- Tuesday 06/10 (12:00 - 13:00) - Change supercycles in the PS and SPS (OP). The SPS supercycle will be the ion 120 GeV/c coastable one (some references can be found at https://ab-mgt-md-users.web.cern.ch/ab-mgt-md-users/2009/MDCycles/SomeReferencesForIonCoastAt120GeV/Ref.htm)

- Tuesday 06/10 (13:00 - 19:00) - Setting-up of the 120 GeV/c coastable ion cycle for UA9 (Crystal) (OP, RF, ABP). During this time the PS MD "Rebucketing instead of LHC fine synchro" could take place (H. Damerau) => 2 BP TSTLHC25 cycle

- Tuesday 06/10 (19:00) to Wednesday 07/10 (07:00) - UA9 (Crystal) with ions (W. Scandale)

- Wednesday 07/10 (07:00 - 08:00) - Cool-down before the Injector Technical Stop (OP)
